Waiting on a word

wordHave you ever been stuck? Are you in a situation and growing impatient? Have you called on God and asked him to speak to you, to answer your question, now?

Yeah, me too.

If you feel like you’ve not gotten an answer, if you feel like all you’ve done is wait, maybe there is another perspective.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

John begins his Gospel by describing Jesus as the “Word”. He provides this identity to introduce us to our savior, the promised Messiah. Why?

God knows that we’re going to face difficulties. God knows that we need him today and tomorrow and the next. What does he provide?

He gave us the Word. Jesus comes alive to you, Jesus speaks to you, when you study the Bible, the Word. It is ALIVE and you will meet your Savior in its pages. If you’re not sure where to begin, start at John 1:1. You will meet a God who loves you so dearly that he sent his only Son to die for your sins.

The Word lives. Go meet him.
