Love affair

What I was going to write:

The more I read the Bible, meditate on it, and attempt to apply it to my daily life, the more I cherish it. I am developing a love affair with God’s word.

I’m not sure that’s true, though. Here’s what I’d really like to say.

The more I read the Bible, meditate on it, and attempt to apply it to my daily life, the more I cherish that time. I meet God in those pages and I am falling deeper and deeper in love with Him. It is the greatest of love affairs.

Go ahead; read your Bible. In the immortal words of Bill and Ted, “It will be a most excellent adventure!”
