Running from God

This is an excerpt from Pastor Steven Furtick’s sermon entitled In.fin.8, Can’t Call It (Part 4) about Jonah:

“You find out if you run long enough that even if the enemy will provide you with a ship to get away from the will of God, God has this way of providing something greater than a ship to bring you back to the place where you want to be. The point of the story of Jonah isn’t necessarily about human disobedience, it’s about the power of the grace of God to work through even our human disobedience to produce a divine result for His glory.

See if I were to put the story of Jonah in one sentence, I would say it like this: God can do anything, for anyone, anywhere, at any time, through anyone, He chooses.”
