Hall of Faith

Hebrews chapter 11 begins:

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see (verse 1).

It goes on to describe the faith leaders in history: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, and Rahab, among others. We can exercise the same faith in the same God that fathered a nation through old, wrinkled Abraham, led Joseph from prison to the palace, parted the Red Sea and defeated pharaoh through Moses. Where will your faith in God lead you?

“Faith is about stretching out what you have even when you don’t know how in the world it’s possibly going to do what you need it to do.”
